Payroll (and Personnel Administration) Specialist
to join the HR Service Center EMEA. This is a very visible, significant role within the Company and the HR function. This position will be based in The Netherlands and will report to HR Service Center EMEA Manager.
The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Manage payroll for assigned countries with external provider, ensuring compliance with EMEA process, payroll schedules, legal and taxation requirements, collective labor/tariff agreements, country specific requirements and internal auditing requirements.
- Collects input for payroll mutations including the time register for manufacturing locations and providing data to the external vendor via communication interface
- Payroll calculations verification and check for potential errors
- Providing reporting on payroll data for SOX, regulatory and internal purposes
- Handle HR, employees, and managers queries
- Handles the Expat administration
- Troubleshoot problems involving other stakeholders if necessary
- Maintain HRIS database (Workday) according to the assigned role
- Ensures all employee data is up to date
- Runs report on HR data
- Absence management
- Sets up new employee account in absence tracking systems
- Keeps the information in the ArboNed portal up-to-date
- Contract management
- Prepares standard HR documents (job contracts, amendments, )
- Holiday registration system
- Sets up new employee account in holiday registration system
- Calculates holiday and jubilee accrual for finance department
- Employee benefits administration
- Insurance and other benefits administration
- Actively contribute to the organizational goals by taking initiative, executing on goals, and focusing on performance and safety
- Improve the organization capacity and capabilities through building collaborative relationships, optimizing diverse talent and utilizing positive communications and influence with others
In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:
- Fluent Dutch and English written and spoken
- Solid experience in independently handling Payroll and HR administration
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the field
- Good Knowledge of MS Office and very good knowledge of Excel
- Previous experience with Workday and ADP Celergo systems will be strong asset
- Demonstrated responsible and ethical behavior at all times
- The ability to help the company drive greater value through understanding the business, making complex decisions and creating the new and different
